Book Club and Paradise

As I mentioned in my previous post, one of the advantages of being 'home' is that you can do things like go to a book club at an old friend's house. That's where a group of friends get together for discussions about a book they read.



Or, maybe just for discussion - period!

Emily and I have known each other since 1983. And, she's been in this same house that whole time. Hard for me to imagine!



Isn't her yard luscious? Believe it or not, it used to be a lot more so. Hurricane Wilma did quite a pruning job on it.

So, here's home for the time being.

We just moved to a new site, right near the pool.






I believe summer has arrived. It's 84 degrees in the shade now, and HUMID.
